The Social Network was one of The films I didn’t get to see before the Oscars and I regret that now having seen it! I completely understand all the nominations and actual would have chosen it to be Best Film. It moved so well back and forth from past to the present time. The movie held so many qualities you see in a Best Film. There was great character development, editing, score, acting, screen play and directing. It made a wonderful depiction on a cultural, technological and social phenomenon that has changed not just my generation, but the entire world and the way we think and live. Having seen Jesse Eisenberg in other films, (such as ‘Zombieland’) I would not have expected a performance like that to come from him. I believe he did deserve the nomination but not the win. This film helps give us a better understanding into the world of Facebook and how it started, but also how much it has really affected our worlds and connected us.
